Here is my driver Jon, he was loyal, helpful, spoke English and most important got me were I needed to go, and did not take me to those tourist traps. I highly recomend his service if you are going to Cambodia.

You rarely see planes with propellers, this one is so colorful

Sea Anemone

I took a few good shots of the sea anemone, I am posting one with a small black fish hiding in the anemone and one with a clown fish swimming into the anemone

The Sea Turtle remains protected and is endangered. The turtle is still hunted and tey use the skin for boots, wallets, belts and other items for entertainment. They also make an herb soup for longevity and energy

This Ray is quite colorful although he stopped moving, Paul still got a pretty good shot of this guy

For some reason the Sea horses were difficult to get clear shots. I think I would use a tripod next, if that did not work I will try a Macro lens. Paul was able to get several good shots of the sea horses while I had more trouble

Paul had a lot of depth and many fish to focus in. I think he did remarkale with capturing the fish in the distance and leaving the closer blue fish (?) a little out of focus. Great job

I like this one even though there is not much color contrast, the subject makes it interesting

I would say one of the best he has taken, suitable for framing, Great color, clear focus, Excelent composition (purple coral and sea anenome)

These are the first few photos Paul took with his first digitsl csmera. I think the wite jelly is exquisite, good size, detail, no reflection and movement. Paul ran into someone who started coaching him how to take these shots and he has done great

I was at the Long Beach Aquarium on April 22 2006 which is the International Earth Day, for conservation awareness. Of course when I saw this I thought of you. It has been my dream to own a falcoln or an Owl. I have thought about it long and hard and believe they require lots of attention and exercise and will do best in the wild. I would adopt a sick or injured but that is a long shot. I hope you can be inspired by his beauty, courage and strength. I look to you as the protectors of these great birds. Hope all is well with you

The shark tank presents a challence of reflection and water clarity. I love the close ups that show the row of teeth the shark has. I understand they go through about 10,000 teeth in a life time. If we had their teeth, there would be no need for dentists.

The Sea Dragons are my favorite they are from around the Australian waters. Why is the biology of Australia so peculiar, more aberrant than the rest of the world but far more interesting and facinating. The Sea Dragons are related to the Sea Horse.

This one is better but still a little blurry. Good color contrast. I could watch these for an hour

Most of the results were like this or more blurry.
I am not sure how to deal with the glass reflection except to get closer to the glass if possible. I tried going to auto focus to focus, close the flash and take the photo, the shutter seems to close faster this way than when I turn off the flash totally.

Long Beach Aquarium- working with natural light

I have been recentl trying to take more photos without a flash. I was at the Long Beach Aquarium and tried to photograph Jellies. Some tanks had better lighting, most times the shuter stayed open way to long and everything is a blur.
